Website Terms and Disclaimer

Last updated: 3 August 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the On the Road Again website.

By using this website, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the website.

Project status

On the Road Again is currently a charitable project in development.

It is not currently presented as a registered charity, and no charity registration number is claimed.

The Transport for Work Scheme is still being developed and is not yet accepting applications. Information about future services, eligibility and application processes may change before the pilot begins.

Information on this website

The information on this website is provided for general information about the project, its aims and its planned activities.

We take reasonable care when preparing website content, but we cannot guarantee that every page will always be complete, current or free from errors. Information may be updated, corrected or withdrawn as the project develops.

No professional or mechanical advice

Nothing on this website should be treated as legal, financial, medical, safeguarding, employment or professional mechanical advice.

Information about vehicles, maintenance or repairs is general information only. It is not a substitute for an inspection or advice from a suitably qualified professional.

Do not use website content alone to diagnose a fault, carry out a repair or decide whether a vehicle is safe or legal to use.

No promise of support

Nothing published on this website guarantees that any person will receive funding, repairs, vehicle support or another service.

Sending an enquiry, receiving an automated confirmation or discussing someone’s circumstances does not create an entitlement to support or form a contract with On the Road Again.

Any future scheme will have its own eligibility requirements, assessment process, available funding and conditions.

Contact form and communications

The website contact form is for general enquiries only. It must not be used for emergencies or to submit applications, bank statements, medical information, identification documents, vehicle documents or other sensitive personal information.

An automated confirmation only shows that the website has received the message. It does not mean that an enquiry has been accepted, approved or assessed.

We aim to respond to appropriate enquiries, but we cannot guarantee a particular response time.

Acceptable use

You must use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Submit information that you know is false, misleading or fraudulent
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to act for someone
  • Send spam, malicious code or material intended to damage or disrupt the website
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting, accounts or data
  • Interfere with another person’s use of the website
  • Use information from the website to harass, exploit or unlawfully identify another person

We may restrict access, remove material or report activity where reasonably necessary to protect the website, the project or other people.

Links to other websites

This website may contain links to websites operated by other organisations.

Links are provided for information or convenience and do not necessarily mean that On the Road Again endorses the organisation, website, product or service.

We do not control third-party websites. Visitors should review their terms, privacy information and security arrangements before using them or providing personal information.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the written content, branding, logo and original materials published on this website belong to On the Road Again or are used with permission.

You may view, download or print website content for your own personal and non-commercial use.

You must not copy, modify, republish, sell or distribute substantial parts of the website without permission, except where this is allowed by law.

You must not use the On the Road Again name, logo or branding in a way that falsely suggests approval, partnership or endorsement.

Website availability and security

We aim to keep the website available and working correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may temporarily suspend, restrict or change parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.

We take reasonable steps to protect the website, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be free from viruses or other harmful material. Visitors should use appropriate security protection on their own devices.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to this, On the Road Again will not be responsible for loss or damage arising solely from reliance on general website information where the loss was not reasonably foreseeable or where the project was not at fault.

We are not responsible for disruption or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These terms do not remove any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and cookies

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in our Cookie Policy.

Visitors should read both policies when using the website or submitting an enquiry.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, project, planned services or legal requirements change.

The latest version and its revision date will be published on this page. Continued use of the website after an update means that the revised terms will apply from the date shown.
